Kids’ Ministry (age 5 through 5th grade)

Kids’ ministry is central to everything we do here at Stepney Baptist.  On Sundays, younger school-aged kids stay in the church service during the music and are then released to Kids’ Church during the time of greeting.  During Kids’ church the kids will choose between a craft and an activity, and have a teaching from our Bible curriculum.  The current series has the kids learning about all the books of the Bible over the course of one year.  The kids leave with a handout so parents/guardians can review what the children have learned.   During the School year we run a kids program on Monday nights that includes games, a snack and a Bible story as well.

Vacation Bible School (VBS), July, 2009: Every Summer, our volunteers move heaven and earth to create an amazing time for kids between preschool and 5th grade during VBS. This summer, VBS had a safari theme and the kids learned about how to pray...and that God hears every prayer! We've provided a few pictures below so you can see how much fun the kids had!
